1. Sale of Kitten

The Breeder agrees to sell, and the Buyer agrees to purchase, one (1) Munchkin kitten for the total price of $600.00 USD.

2. Health Guarantee

The Breeder guarantees that the Kitten is in good health at the time of sale and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.

a. Veterinary Check
The Buyer agrees to take the Kitten to a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of receipt.
If diagnosed with a serious illness or congenital defect, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including shipping costs, upon return of the Kitten with a certified veterinary report.

b. Genetic Conditions (Breed-Specific)
The Breeder guarantees the Kitten is free of visible signs of severe congenital conditions commonly associated with the Munchkin breed, including but not limited to:

• Lordosis (spinal curvature)

• Pectus Excavatum (chest deformity)

Diagnosis must be confirmed by two (2) licensed veterinarians. In such cases, the Breeder agrees to either replace the Kitten or issue a full refund (Buyer's choice), upon return of the Kitten.

c. Communicable Diseases
If the Kitten is diagnosed with a communicable disease (e.g., feline panleukopenia, calicivirus, or feline herpesvirus) within fourteen (14) days of receipt, the Breeder will refund the full price (including shipping), provided the Kitten is returned along with written veterinary proof of diagnosis.

3. Shipping & Pickup

a. Shipping
If shipped, the Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. The Kitten will be transported via a reputable, animal-safe carrier in compliance with USDA regulations. Tracking information will be provided.

b. Pickup
For pickups:

• A $300 refundable deposit is due upon signing this Agreement.

• The remaining $150 is payable at the time of pickup.

4. Payment Terms

For Delivery:
The Buyer must pay the full purchase price in advance to allow for flight or courier booking.

For Pickup:
A $300 deposit is due upon agreement signing, with the remaining $150 due at pickup.

Accepted Payment Methods:
Zelle or Chime.

5. Buyer’s Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to:

• Provide the Kitten with appropriate food, clean water, regular veterinary care, indoor housing, and companionship.

• Never declaw the Kitten, as it is considered inhumane by most veterinary and animal welfare standards.

• Spay or neuter the Kitten if it is not already sterilized (unless sold with breeding rights).

• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding pet ownership.

6. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Breeder and the Buyer. No verbal agreements or changes are binding unless documented in writing and signed by both parties.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and any applicable state laws. Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction where the Breeder resides, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Agreement Confirmation

By signing below, or submitting this form electronically, the Buyer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this Munchkin Kitten Sale Agreement.
